Independence is key to everything we do at Pentera.  We believe that absolute independence is a prerequisite of being able to provide professional fiduciary services to our clients and to enable us to build long term trusted relationships with them. We believe independence is important at three distinct levels: 

1. Independence of ownership allows clear autonomy without external influences and pressures. 
2. Independence of management allows efficient decision making and implementation and limits the costs of bureaucracy.
3. Independence of decision making allows us to act in the best interests of our clients in a completely un-conflicted manner. 

We do not accept any commissions or other forms of payment from any third parties or benefit in any way from the client assets under our administration, except for the fees which are agreed in advance with our clients. 

We provide outstanding personal service to private clients by responding efficiently to their requirements. 

Every client whom we service is different and our services are tailored to their needs to suit their individual circumstances. Our dedication to the provision of a personal service is reflected in the fact that each of our clients is introduced to two directors who will always be aware of that client’s affairs. In addition, we limit the client relationships under each director’s control to ensure that the quality of the service they are able to provide is not diluted by trying to look after too many clients.

Client relationships are developed through mutual respect and trust.  Our fee structure is transparent and we foster a professional approach in all areas of our business to ensure that clients are treated equitably.

To ensure that the long term planning objectives of our clients are met, we operate on a partnership model basis to enable the organic development of the future management team and enable a natural succession for the administration of our client affairs.  

Jersey is arguably the best regulated trust jurisdiction in the world. Pentera Trust is audited by a top four accountancy firm and carries professional indemnity insurance that is significantly in excess of the regulatory requirements in order to provide additional peace of mind to our clients. 

We believe the single most important resource to our business is our people.  Our team of directors have extensive experience in dealing with many different private client situations involving different types of assets, jurisdictions and legal structures. Each director is also highly qualified.  The collective depth of experience and range of qualifications within the team enables us to provide a focussed service to our clients.

We recognise the importance of operating structures in a cost efficient manner. In order to ensure that there are no unpleasant surprises for our clients, our preferred standard model provides for a fixed method of billing with all fees agreed in advance with our clients.
